Posted 09/02/10 - The Winfield based Ripits softball team is looking for a couple of players for Fall ball and Spring and Summer tournaments.  Finished a great 10 & under season with 2^nd place finish @ ASA 10 & Under “B” Northern Nationals.  Looking for committed girls who love playing softball and have a good attitude.  We will be a 1^st year 12 & Under team (mainly 1999 birthdates).  Must be willing to travel. Posted 08/27/10 - 13 year old with a 97 DOB looking for a team.   Her team did not move up.  She would like to play fall ball.  She pitches, - she has played several positions.  Including short, 2^nd and center field.  She is fast and can catch the ball on the run.   She is currently working with the butler coach on her hitting, she is an excellent bunter, is currently working on power.  Her pitching lessons start back up in October.   She wants to play league in the spring and summer as well as tournaments.
